QA Team’s Stress Buster

October 15, 2008

It is the responsibility of the QA test management team to ensure that the tested software not only conforms to all quality standards but also agrees with the defined requirements. This naturally puts the team under a lot of stress and pressure. Their pressure intensifies when the tested software is found to have any kind of defects. The new advanced test management system is what the team needs as it executes all the tasks, which have been considered as time consuming, within a short time. Thus it eases the pressure off from the QA team by sharing their responsibilities, thus providing the team with ample time to concentrate on other important tasks.

These test management systems are feature–rich and the notable feature is that it fits perfectly well with the various QA methodologies. It is not only a good test development tool but also enhances the software development cycles. For instance, with V Model it not only produces live metrics on all key stages of the V-Model testing cycle but also constantly measures the productivity, efficiency and quality of the software by reporting on test case creation, coverage, test execution progress and defects.

So the advanced test management system not only acts as a stress buster but also as a morale booster.
