Agile Methodologies and Test Management Tools

Agile methodologies, a software development process is a flexible and fast process promoting development iterations and open collaboration all through the life-cycle of the project. It’s most important feature is that it minimizes risk by developing software in a short period of time. Continuous communication, re-usability and a final release is what Agile is.

With the latest test management tools departments employing Agile model can write mini test cases within test case creation, copy or move or link throughout the iteration and leverage previous iterations making it very convenient to work in a mode, where there isn’t much time to write detailed test cases.

Test management tools organize and track testing by iterations. They handle multiple iterations within each release. They tie all the testers together by making information sharing with a centralized repository. QA teams can also communicate instantly.
